Bookmooching

I got rid of 4 books this week! Someone mooched 4 from me on www.bookmooch.com

They are all part of the same series by V.C. Andrews.

Guess that makes room for the 2 more I got in the mail.... Surrender the Pink and Postcards from the Edge by Carrie Fisher

Notes on Eat, Pray, Love

I am hearing that if I had read on past Italy it gets better. However, my other book club member reading it is taking quite awhile to read so it's not a grab you and pick it up kind of book. Maybe I'll skim through the next section when I get the book back.

Another note only 1-2 people actually finished the book in time for book club so I am not sure it was quite the read but almost slow going.

Into the Wild

by Jon Krakauer

I just finished this book in record time, about 10 days!
I loved it! I was fascinated with how Krakauer put together a trip and Chris's life from speckled journals and talks with people he met along the way.

He really made you want to read until the very end where you find out exactly what happened to Chris.

5 out of 5 (highly recommend reading)

Reading...

I started INTO THE WILD by Jon Krakhauer so I can give it to another book club member. It is quite fascinating. I guess I am just too nervous to leave society like he did and wander around like that. It is quite a fast read and getting interesting.

Back to Pillars of the Earth when this one is done.
